Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy says the Liberal Party is “turning themselves into knots” over the Voice to Parliament debate.

“They’ve got a bunch of far-right crazy right-wingers in their caucus and there trying to find a way to win an election by moving back into the centre,” he told Sky News Australia.

“They’ve got these new bunch of crazies that just want to be able to hold the rest of the party hostage.”
